A historically accurate style shirt. It can be worn full length with a dress or shirt length with a more formal Bodice/Vest and overskirt. It features a box pleat cuff and collar ruffle (pleated by hand).  Considered upper-class. Full-cut sleeves show a high level of wealth. This shirt is elegant enough for court wear or High Tea. Great for Renaissance, Elizabethan, Scottish/Celtic, or Steampunk events. 

Made of 100% cotton materials and is machine washable. Wash instructions included with order. 

Cuffs are standard 2 inches wide. We use period-appropriate, metal, shank buttons when the button option is chosen. The button color will complement the embellishment or fabric color.  Available button colors are silver, gold, bronze or black. Please specify if color is important.

Every pleat at cuff and collar was folded by hand - approx. 1" wide box pleat pattern. We didn't 'cheat' by using pre-ruffled or pre-folded trims.

Our Ladies Tunics are standard 28" in body length, though length may vary with height options.  Full length options may be available, inquire if interested.

 Other Options to Customize this garment to your desires:

--SLEEVE OPTIONS:You can keep the sleeve solid and formal, or there are options to fancy up the shirt. You can add a slash of lace down the length of the sleeve, like our Merchant Chemise. Or you can make the whole Sleeve in lace. Lace patterns will vary. The gold vest shows the lace at the cuff and collar option. The lace overlays the box pleating. 

--You can choose how deep the V at the neck goes.  Either 'Deep' for cleavage when wearing Bodices, or 'Normal' for a bit more modesty. 

--If you desire embroidery, this versatile shirt has many options for styles and placement of the embroidery.  You can have the embroidery on just the cuff and collars, or running down the length of the sleeves, or all three places for maximum panache. 

-- A full-length version is available for an added cost. The full-length version is a perfect complement for under our Froca, Bellacane, or for added layers under skirts.  The full-length version is approximately 54" long.

EMBROIDERY OPTIONS: 

    --Our Tudor Rose shirt features our Renaissance Blackwork Tudor Rose embroidery. It adds a romantic touch to this comfortable, easy-to-wear garment. Blackwork embroidery was traditionally black, but we thought we'd offer other embroidery colors for variety.

    --Our Fleur Blackwork shirt features a historical Renaissance Blackwork Fleur embroidery. 

    --Our Thistle embroidery is also a Blackwork design, good for Renaissance Festivals, and perfect for Celtic or Scottish Festivals. 

    --Our Tribal embroidery is a fun modern embroidery, great for LARPing or fantasy events. Might be passable at a Renaissance Faire, depending on the Faire. 

    --Our Celtic embroidery is an actual historical design. Works great at Celtic or Scottish Festivals, Renaissance Faires, or just about anywhere.

    --Our Ironworks embroidery is a pattern influenced by the tops of wrought iron fences. Works great at Renaissance Faires, LARPs, or anywhere.
